A sensor fits to your pipeline and sends your flow data to the FarmSense app, updated every 6 minutes. Know exactly what's moving, without ever driving out to check.

Proven on NZ farms
“Previously, I relied on a float gauge, which was often unreliable and left me scrambling when tanks ran dry. Now, I receive real-time alerts for any issues, such as pumps not running or leaks. This proactive approach has saved me invaluable time and effort.”
“Recently, I had two leaking troughs at the same time, and the system alerted me immediately, giving me a crucial window to address the problem before it escalated. I can check tank levels and water flow right from my phone, no matter where I am.”
Time lost walking pipelines, every single day.
Thousands of litres gone before anyone notices.
Burnt out before anyone's there to switch it off.
Check every line with your morning coffee.
Set a threshold and catch problems early.
Spot a leak the day it starts, not a week later.

Check your flow rates each morning alongside the rest of your farm, all in the one app. No more separate systems, no more piecing it together after the fact.
The Sensor Hub
Once fitted, your Water Flow Sensor's cable connects straight into a Sensor Hub, which has a mobile sim card in it and relays data from up to four FarmSense Sensors via cellular.
Fit the sensor to your pipeline and connect it to the Sensor Hub. No callout, no fuss.
Clear space around the pipe and wrap the threads with tape.
Point the flow arrow the right way, turn the water off, and cut the pipe to length.
Turn the water back on, check for leaks, then connect the cable to your Sensor Hub.

FAQs
Yes there is a monthly FarmSense Data Plan fee per Sensor Hub. This covers the data costs and is charged per Sensor Hub regardless of how many sensors are connected.
No. Our Sensor Hub 4G have a built in SIM card, which is covered by the FarmSense 4G Data Plan. The first 12 months is included in every kit and bundle.
Our Sensor Hubs each have 4 sensor connectors, so you can monitor multiple tanks, flows, fences, etc from a single Sensor Hub.
Yes, up to 4 sensors per Sensor Hub can be connected, mixing and matching sensor types like Water Tank Level, Water Flow, Rain, Weather and Soil Moisture on the one hub.
No. Installation is an easy DIY job using basic tools, no technician required. Exact tools and steps vary by product, see the relevant Product Focus FAQ below.
The Sensor Hub is solar powered with a lithium battery backup, giving it a life of 10+ years with no ongoing maintenance.
190 x 165 x 50mm, solar powered with a lithium battery backup for 10+ years of life. Stainless-steel bracket, rated from -40°C to +70°C. Comes with a bracket for tanks and flat surfaces, with an optional pole mount bracket available.
Sensor Hub Pro and Sensor Hub Pro 4G have 4 sensor connectors and support Water Tank Level, Water Flow, Rain, Weather and Soil Moisture sensors. Weather Station and Soil Moisture sensors require a Pro model. Sensor Hub Pro 4G and Sensor Hub 4G add built in 4G (Spark), so they work anywhere on farm with mobile coverage, no wifi required.
A sensor fits to your pipeline and sends your flow data straight to the FarmSense app, updated every 6 minutes. You can check from anywhere and set alerts for unusual flow.
No. It's a DIY fit using basic tools, thread tape and the couplers provided. You'll need to turn the water off while you cut in the sensor, then check for leaks once it's back on.
No plumber required. See install manual and video:
Yes. You can set a threshold and get a text and app alert if flow drops out or spikes unexpectedly.
Ultrasonic Water Meter, fitted in the pipeline with BSP couplers with 8m cable, rated 0°C to +50°C and up to 10 bar maximum pressure.
DN25mm, DN32mm and DN40mm, with a bundle for each so you get the right fit for your farm.
