You can’t control the weather.
You can control what you know.

We exist to give every farmer complete visibility over their operation, in real time, from their phone. One platform. One view. Complete clarity.

Why we exist

From guesswork
to certainty.

Farmers are high-performance operators managing complex, high-stakes operations,  yet you’ve been forced to decide on guesswork. We exist to give every farmer complete visibility, in real time, from their phone.

Clarity is your asset

Check your entire farm before leaving the house,  and start the day with something already achieved.

Uncertainty is expensive

You can’t control the weather or the market ,  but you can control how much information you have.

Simplicity is non-negotiable

One platform. One view. Complete clarity. Plug and play means plug and play.

The creation story

One farmer’s refusal to accept guesswork.

Gerald Williams stood on his Hawke’s Bay farm facing a problem every farmer knows: limited water, and too much at stake to leave anything to chance.

With a background in designing and managing complex telco networks, Gerald realised the same technology could give farmers something they'd never had: real time visibility over water, tank levels, soil moisture, fence voltage and rainfall, all from their phone.

What started as his own solution became something bigger. Each morning, Gerald watched the stress lift from his shoulders as he checked his phone and saw everything, knew everything, before he'd even left the house. That mental clarity, that sense of control, was too powerful not to share.

But the technology that worked for Gerald was still too complex for most farmers. So he spent years simplifying, testing and refining until he'd built true plug and play farm monitoring. No IT degree required, just smart technology that serves farmers.

FarmSense was born from one farmer's refusal to accept guesswork, and his mission to give every farmer the power to know, decide and act with complete confidence.

What we believe

The principles behind the platform

Mental clarity is your most valuable asset

Check your entire farm before leaving the house and start the day with something already achieved.

Your time should create value

Check your entire farm before leaving the house and start the day with something already achieved.

Uncertainty is expensive

You can’t control it, but you can control how much information you have to face it with.

Simplicity is non-negotiable

One platform. One view. Complete clarity. No fifty systems, no fifty logins.

Small problems caught early stay small

Catch it early, fix it small, before it becomes an expensive one.

Farmers shouldn’t need to be IT experts

Plug and play means plug and play. Smart technology that serves farmers, not the other way around.

A farmer first, not a tech executive who discovered farming.

Gerald Williams isn't a tech executive who discovered farming. He's a farmer, working his own land in Hawke's Bay, who happened to bring a background in telco networks with him.

He built FarmSense to solve his own problem first: limited water, too much at stake for guesswork. Once he'd felt that shift himself, he spent years simplifying the system until any farmer could use it. Plug and play isn't a marketing line for Gerald, it's an obsession.

He still uses FarmSense on his own farm every day, and he's still the first-person farmers talk to for a setup that needs real thought.

We’re up against the same pressures every FarmSense farmer knows.

Compliance and uncertainty

Rising pressure, thin margins. We help you face it with real data, not guesswork.

The fifty-system nightmare

Different logins, no unified view. We give you one platform, one view.

The old paradigms

"She'll be right" isn't a strategy. We catch it early and fix it small.

At FarmSense, we're monitoring specialists, not a plumbing or infrastructure company. We put critical information at your fingertips.
Built by a farmer. For farmers.

Let’s remove
the guesswork.
